I made this summer lot of drawings for this little book that Philip Luickx has been writing. It is a a set of short stories featuring two good friends; squirrel and kangaroo.

Society6!

I finally got some works to Society6. Its possible now to order many different products of my artwork "Passenger"from there.

My dear cat Black Jack died this August while I was visiting Belgium what made me very sad for months and I could not make much drawings anymore that I had planned. Hardest part has been that Black Jack was such an inspirational muse for me always. I have lot of recent drawings about him especially from this summer and I could not continue making them as it was so hard he died so suddenly. He dropped from a catsitter´s window on 4th floor and died immediately 14.8.2013. Even this Passenger is inspired by his relaxed and carefree attitude. This sloth keeps hanging in there whatever happens and I want to think now this way too. Hang in there! Things will work out.

Here is my newest design UFO´s and Zombies in Berlin.  I made it for THreadless Comic Book Legal Defense Fund cause. The script was written by Neil Gaiman. I am a big fan of him and it was great to participate to this challenge.

passenger

 I had so much fun doing this passenger. Its about freeloaders, sleepyheads (unikeko in finnish), dreamers and for those who are living their life in a half sleep. Or sleeping in trains and metros missing their destinations or maybe being late for work. I would like to say that is time to wake up and do things not just dream of them. But same time the biggest sleepy season is coming. So many animals will be winter sleeping while people just keep going.
